Help with an Omega 2318/8

Hi all.Let me introduce myself.
I'm new to this Forum and the world of Omega watches. I have recently bought my first Omega (Seamaster Calendar around 1960s). But my question today is about watch I could buy (or not) according to the advice of people who know much more than me.
Is an Omega 2318/8 that looks as a Dirty 12 but not completely. Those watches are mostly around SN 10.XXX.XXX and this one is 9.XXX.XXX. There are no markings on the rear cap. The arrow head on the dial is present.
Is there any chance it is legitime? If military, can it be destined to a different army other than GB?

The dial has been repainted as a military dial, Hands are wrong, too.

Hands should be spade type if I am not wrong. Regarding to the dial, my eyes are not so trained as yours, so your help is more than appreciated.

I was wondering if the hands are the correct ones. If it has a redial or not. What is the real price of this piece? I payed 400 usd for this watch. Why is not jumbo size.

I lost my interest in this watch after what I have learnt here. That is the value of this kind of Forums IMHO. Thanks to those who have expressed their opinion.
