    Happy Monday!

I was in the process of buying an Omega c case for the collection when the seller mentioned that he had a gold watch in his drawer. It's an 18K Admiral with a 1971 presentation date on the case back, but he doesn't have any other details and can't open the back. I did a bit of searching and have been unable to find a similar dial on another watch or determine which reference it might be. Has anyone seen this model before?

    Thanks!

It's got a caliber 50x inside, which is a rebadged Record 195x. Looks correct, except maybe for the crown, and definitely from that time period that the inscription denotes.

That one likely loads from the front. If it does, it requires a crystal lift to pull the crystal. There is a special tool for that purpose, but I suppose a generic lifter might do the job.

I have never seen another like it, and I can not help much.

From what little I can see from my pc, the style seems to be the seventies; the crown seems original, at least to judge from the dome shape, (also used on chronographes, but the photos do not help).
