I have had cal1040 vintage Omega for about 10/12 years now and have at last decided to rebuild it.
Having read your posts on this site regarding what should or should not be refurbed I would like to hear from you
as to whether I should have the lume on the face touched up and if I should invest in a new set of hands.
Some years ago I purchased a pair of genuine pushers from Frey's they are S/S and the case is Gold filled
    should I have these G/plated?

    Cheers

In your particular case, as the dial is so damaged, I would buy a new dial here and save the old with old parts in the watch case.
