Hello All! I have come here looking for a few answers to some questions that I have.

    1) Are the subdial hands from the 145.022 the same as the subdial hands on the 145.014?

    2) Is the crown the same on the 145.022 as the 145.014?

    3) Will the Sapphire crystals for a newer Mark II fit in the case of this old one? Or could anyone recommend an aftermarket sapphire crystal to purchase that would fit this? Thanks

Think the handset is the identical for both , see two of mine below. It would also make sense for the crown to be the same as they both use 861 movement.
I think the tachy scale is actually a part of the crystal so finding aftermarket could be difficult but Omega do make a replacement crystal for the vintage MKii, I just had one fitted to my racing dial 014.
Others will certainly know more than me but all the best with getting the watch together.
    Cheers,

I have had a couple of racing dial and also two black dial Mkiis.
Both the racing dials had shorter thicker hour and minute hands and both black mkii had what look more like Moonwatch hands.
Does that mean the two black dials had replacement hands from a 145.022 or were there different hand sets for racing and black dial 145.014s.
    Very interested to know.
    Thanks,
    Tony

If you want a sapphire crystal for the MkII contact Tanner at tmWatch. He offers a custom made one. The standard Omega crystal for these is mineral glass, and it will scratch. The sapphire replacement is a nice upgrade in my opinion.

The standard MKii has standard moon watch hands 065PP3915, the racing mkii have a fat hour hand and stick second both with shorter lume than the moonwatch, sub dial hands are virtually the same but the MKii has the older style with a raised area around the pin hole ref 066TP3922 066TP3923 066TP3924 unlike the newer hands fitted to the Moon Watches which are reference 066TP3917 066TP3918 066TP3919.

The 145.014 takes a different crown to the Moon watch. ref 069ST43059

The tachy scale is on the crystal, ref 063TN5146TA.

    Regards, John.

I don't know what the sales forum is as I rarely post on this site, just posting codes to help and where they can be obtained.
