Hi guys, I am wondering about this Speedmaster on the photos, from what I can see dial and hands look original, case needs cleaning up, but movement looks like a 861 to me? Or that is just my eyes? Should be 321. What is the opinion on this one? Thanks
Transitional with wrong case back? Pusher are not from 105012 so sounds to be a 68 with wrong caseback.
It might be the angle of the picture, but the hands appear to be off. But, it's tough to tell if it's the camera distorting it though. I suppose you might have a correct 68 transitional with an incorrect caseback, what's the serial number?
No way is that a transitional. It's a watch put together from spare parts. The movement is post 1972. Doesn't look much like a CB case either.
Well,...,It's a transplant movement. Caliber 861 but should be 321 Intimated above, certainly. So a movement swicheroo will be one thing to do, to begin to set it right....if you have one 321 sitting around ... circa 1966
