Help with 1954 Riveted Rolex bracelet

I have a straight lug riveted bracelet dating from 4/54 which has an issue with the middle link at one end. Secure at one end but missing whatever kept it in place the other end. Being riveted is this fixable otherwise do you believe it would be safe to wear as is. Link has some marks on it so may have been knocked and spring action works but is stiff. Hoping I have explained the issue enough for someone to suggest a course of action

You can bend out the link to fit it though the pin and then bend it back down, but you will likely deform the link. Probably best to send it to a specialist to disassemble the link from the side pieces if that makes sense.

As @vibe says, it can be repaired that way. But you might get a better repair by disassembling that link and rebuilding it. Rivet bracelets can be totally rebuilt. The springs are actually the hardest thing to find.

I found a listing on eBay for springs. My end link width is 17.90 so assume I need the 15mm size spring

Do you want to try these?
Can't remember where they came from but PM me your address and I'll send some to see if they work.
