    directed at more the watchmakers and clockmakers amongst you. I have these, i have had them for a long time I have a lot of them what the hell are they?! i have never seen them and i just can not work it out... Its tools watch or clock tools of some description but what what for?

    They look like driving dogs for a Watchmaker's lathe, or any lathe really but they appear to be small. They are used for "turning between centres".

    Oddly, I am missing a few if you don't want them :) Here's a picture of my lathe.

    hero love it thank you! that was seriously bugging me! No sorry (not free) make an offer only because they are not mine part of a great deal of watchmakers gear we are selling for a customer there's a few more too. im not sure how many in total. thank you tho without knowing what they were i could not "search them"
