I am looking at this watch on eBay
It's interesting to me as my dad used to have a seamaster 30 and also I was born in 1963. Any verification, views etc on this watch from experts would be much appreciated.
    Many Thanks
    Mark

Geee that dude needs to find another wrist to showcase his watches! Oh! and the watch looks like a redial from my quick glance!

From the Omega Database steel model(this particular watch I have not found):
    Seamaster 30
    Gents' leather strap
    Reference
    ST 135.0007
    International collection
    1962
    Movement
    Type: Manual winding (mechanical)
    Caliber number: 286
    Created in 1961
    17 jewels
    Central sweep-second hand
    Case
    Stainless steel
    Case back
    Screw-in
    Dial
Different types, with facetted relief, luminous hour markers and luminous “stick ” hands.
    Crystal
    Armoured hesalite
    Bracelet
    Leather
    Water resistance
    30 meters

One of the most popular models of those times. I think that the watch was produced in 1964.

redial means refinished - however looking at the pictures on a larger screen I have doubts about this. I'm sure others will chime with a better assessment..

    Thanks Rafal,
Does the -63 at the end of the ref number note indicate it was made in 1963?
Thanks for all the other info, regardless of age, does it look likea good buy for £100 ish ?
    Thanks

The crown is an element that was replaced at the service. Unfortunately crown this watch is very worn.

...for the time being the price is acceptable but it might get higher due to the relatively good shape.
    Gold filled case though...:(

I see a few red flags.

    1. Seller sold the same watch on earlier listing and received feedback from Buyer.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wrist-watch-Omega-SEMASTER-30-/351200673525?nma=true&si=L6aGMmWhCY0yTZvy8Ddrb5rQ0SQ%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    2. Recent feedbacks from unique Buyer.

    3. Location of watch.

Although there's nothing here that could not be explained, and perhaps Seller has good reasons and not not evil motives, but these are plenty of red flags for me to stay away.

Avoid this one. Too fishy and too wrong. A good, solid 135.007 can be had around $450-$500us sans bracelet

Yup, he could be on a beach in boardshorts and you'd think he was wearing a fur coat.

That arm is horrifying, absolutely horrifying. There should be a disclaimer on that link

Is this a problem that in some cultures, hair removal for men is not accepted?
I do not understand ridicule and intolerance.
