Help trying to identify an old Omega Gold Watch

Full disclosure I do not own this watch, my neighbor (who owns it) showed it to me and was on his way to take it to the local jewelry story. I asked him to let me do a little research on first and recommended that he should take it to a watch specialty shop (not a jewelry store). Based on what he told me, he has had the watch for 30+ years, and has never worn it, it appears to be gold and has "diamonds" (4) at the 3/6/9/12 hour marks....It's still in the box and has the original price tags on it ($3200). I do not know if it is running, but would assume it needs a good once over and a cleaning....it looked flawless.

I looked around online and could not find any just like it, I even tried the Omega Vintage watch site.....

I'm trying to help him figure out exactly what he has and determine the value.

Thanks for any help/advice!!

Possibly from the Omega "Emerald Line" introduced in the 1970s.
Could be powered by a calibre 620.

At the moment, value is simply the weight of the gold as these aren't collectable vintage watches, however there may be someone who would like it.

All of the answers are inside the watch.

Don't recall ever seeing this type of sliding clasp on any Omega bracelet, that price tag doesn't look right either.

Better photos would help a lot, particularly the back and clasp.

I'm leaning towards fake.

I have on the way (from Japan!) an Omega-branded bracelet that I am fairly confident is real and has the same style of clasp. I know that's proof of nothing, but makes the clasp perhaps slightly more plausible.
