this watch was bought in Germany by my brother in law in the early seventies, he used to wear it down the pit until I swapped him for a rotavator, my son always coveted it, unfortunately it was stolen in a burglary in 2012 so I cannot provide any other pictures, I would like to try and replace it and pass it on to my son.

 

Its a seamaster 60, 166062 from the late 60s early 70s. you could get them with a black face or a blue face and without being 100%sure that they are genuine, a red face. A good one will cost a few thousand dollars but they are not uncommon so you can afford to look about and find a good example. If you do come across one then post it on here and people will be helpful about condition and originality so you wont get ripped off
