Hello, I heritage this old Omega from my dads uncle a while ago, and i wonder if it is a real Omega and if someone know what model it can be?

It is an automatic and it got some small hand engraved numbers/letters on each arm where the bracelet is mounted. The letters are: NF 580 15762 ( i think, its kind of hard to read it)

    Hello and welcome.

Your watch is in deed genuine and dates from the early to mid 1970s. The marks you describe are unrelated to the watch and are likely from a watchmaker during a service.

    Probably a reference 166.0168.

Thank you very much for the information about the watch. Does someone know what kind/type of wristband that is original or more suitable than the fixo flex it has now? I kind of dont like the fixo flex that much, Its a bit simple and it keeps pulling in the hair on my arms.

Thanks again for the information X350 XJR, I appriciate the effort and knowledge you guys present here in the forum.

Probably had a un-padded or lightly padded plain leather strap.

Just pick one you like and you should be fine.

Also you should get the watch serviced by a reputable independent watchmaker if you plan on wearing the watch, its probably long overdue.
