Hi, well chufffed to find this forum, thank you.

Info I can tell you about my shiny bright Omega is as follows;

Haven't started her in over a decade, wound her today abd she is working beautiful.

I do not know serial details as I'm too scared to open the back. ( Based on your advice)

Found amongst my long time deceased grandparents belongings whilst cleaning out house to move.

Clearly a new band had been fitted. What seems to be on top of the original band??

Feels solid and looks like rose gold around face.

I can not see any identifying marks,despite looking with magnifying glass.

I do not intend on keeping the watch. I am a farmer and would surely damage such a wonderful peice that has lasted nearly 100 years. Wow

Thus I've come to this site rather than flog her on ebay. I'd prefer someone who has a genuine interest in the watch.

First time so please ask me any questions and I'll happily accept any tips for making my thread better.

Ta
Adele

Unfortunately. It's a well worn watch. Gold filled case that is worn through at the lugs to the base metal.

Once this happens. Watches value may be just in the movement as long as the condition of the movement is clean.

You can see marks at the 9:00 side. Thats where the back has been opened. Pocketknife. Slip in and pop the back.

When I was buying. I would have paid based on the movement and tossed the case, but I have enough parts movements.

Pop the back and compare movement to those on Ebay. Possible a 26.5 SOB manual wind
