Wow you are amazingly fast , thanks a lot !!!!!
Do you think , the watch been serviced in 2015, they could have improved something to the movement ?
I heard that the 3313 had some technical issues at his launch, is the 3313 b concerned ?
Sorry for the lots of question, your answer won't make me change my mind, i love the watch, Daniels coax and column weel but il's always a real pleasure to learn !!!

    Cheers

Al, fascinating as always. Would I be right in thinking that the B spec can be upgraded to the C spec? Just out of curiosity, if the OP's watch started out as a 3313B and was upgraded to the 3313C spec (say during the 2015 service), would the serial number have been altered or would it remain the same as the 3313B movement?

Also, this thread is also full of interesting information

Omega does offer an upgrade of the B version to the C version. It requires changing a few parts including the main plate, so the new main plate will be stamped 3313C instead of 3313B. The serial number doesn't change, because the serial number is not located on the main plate.

I have upgraded 3313's that I've serviced using the kit that Omega sells with the new parts, but I can't say that everyone who services these would do this. I'm not clear if Omega does this upgrade automatically when a watch is sent in, or if you have to ask for it.

So if you really want to know for certain, you would have to look inside the watch at the movement - check the marking on the main plate near the balance wheel.

The B uses the 2 level co-axial escapement, which certainly has it's problems, where the C uses the 3 level co-axial escapement that all currently produced Omega watches use.

    Cheers, Al

Look at the movement where the red arrow is in this photo:

You might also be able to see the co-axial wheel - it should look like this one (lower right):

Hi Al. Does Omega update their database to specify 3313C for that serial after the upgrade?

That is unclear - if Pierre CH can tell us what is written on the main plate of his watch (that is impossible to see in the photos he posted) then we may know the answer to that question.

    Cheers, Al

Sorry, I meant to ask in general. If a person had a 3313B and then it was upgraded to 3313C would the info in Omega's database show the new 3313C version? Or would it continue to say the caliber number that it originally came with?

I knew what you were asking, and this is a chance to determine the answer. If Pierre's watch has been upgraded, and is indeed marked 3313C, then I can tell you that the Omega Extranet does not reflect the current condition of the watch.

Hi Pierre, if you have a fairly new phone with a good camera, with good lighting, you can zoom in with your phone. I think most phones have a magnifier options for visual assist as well.
