Hi all... I'm new here, though I've had Omega watches for some time now. Only vintage though. I received my SpeedMaster Triple Calendar 2003-model with the Calibre 1151 movement today. Bought used from Chrono24. When I wanted to set the day (mon - fri), I used a wooden toothpick, like I always do with these insert buttons. The button gave way and the day flipped from WED to THU..... and then the insert button didn't come out. What should I do? I know it's thursday today, but something seems to be very wrong now; if I turn the hands and it passes 0:00, it tries to change the day to FRI, but is not succeeding - and it still display THU. I can't visit a watchmaker before saturday at the earliest... Everything else works fine; day, month, chronograph, setting the time etc...
I wonder why you bother Al! Your answer seemed pretty comprehensive before.. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f20/he...endar-button-c-stuck-inside-case-2479778.html
