    Hello Everyone,

I would like to see if anybody can help me to restore this old Omega Seamaster Automatic De Ville.
    Refº 165.008
    Caliber 711

The watch was bought about 2 years on ebay.
At the time I was thinking that I could found easily the parts to start the restore.
But it wasn t soo easy, then I left this watch in a box.

I need to know if anybody have parts for this watch, such as:
    - Dial
    - Back Cover in good conditions

Or if anyone knows a place in europe, where I can put it to be restored?

The case have the lugs crooked, they have to be put in place.
The back cover is a litlle damage, and full with deep scratchs.
The Dial, is missing 4 "indexs" (hour marks) from 1 hour until 4 hours.
(that's the reason I couldn't get therestore of the dial in Portugal).

I allready have a new and original movement, and also a plexyglass.

Holpe to get some help here and finally solve this restoration.

    Thanks
    Best Regards
    BAAC

Money pit. Cheaper buying one in decent condition than trying (probably not successing) to fix that utter mess.

Hang on to the movement, though---it could be good.

    Thank's everyone for the reply!

@Rochete , it's usually a little bit expensive watch, about €1000 in working conditions.

I guess I probably should sell all parts on Ebay...
(to recover the small amount spended on this!

    Best Regards

I think it makes the most sense to sell the parts, the Ref.165008 don't have a huge following, I sold one I had for 400$ a Week ago. Good luck!

Of course, newb tax now paid, you could use it as an example to learn repair with.

    Finally,

The watch is assemble, with NOS crystal/case/seconds hand.

I left the dial has it was, because here nobody could restor it, and I guess it fits fine, its is mark of age...
