Hi guys, Would be grateful for any info and value of my watch that I inherited from my grandfather. I know he was civilian worker for the MOD at Donibristle air base in Fife, Scotland during and after WW2. Donibristle was part of the Royal fleet air arm. I have had two offers but did not know if they were reputable or not. The watch keeps perfect time and was serviced by my father a few times by a local watchmaker. I have a few photos. Thanks Jim

I have no idea how desparate you are for funds but it seems sad to me to sell a watch owned by a grandfather. Perfectly acceptable if you cannot afford new shoes for the kids but if the funds were to go towards the pub or an iphone then surely you would be better off leaving it in a drawer until your child may appreciate it?
Here's a post with two examples with identical dials: http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?185601-Omega-30T2-6B-159-Italic-dials I think these could have been redialled by the British military after WWII. gatorcpa
