Im interested in buying this and not too sure as the photos are amazing.

The seller has stated the watch is all original except for the strap.

I've tried to do some research but can't find anything that is anywhere near similar.

    Thankyou in advance

I have some more photos if required.

Why is the dial pixelated and the back ground not?

Never seen a dial like that either. Smells fishy

The seller has lied. No collector would touch this. Looks like the watch was refilled with black nail polish. Case has been polished. No on all fronts.

Famous seller on eBay? California? South Korea? Granite background seems familiar to other redialed POS' we see threads created for.

Keep searching, and check out @ConElPueblo's critical Learn How to Fish guide for newbies.

    Best of luck!

Generally, the less work you'll want to put into finding a watch, the more you'll pay. I find omegaenthusiast.com has some good examples, but the prices are generally MUCH higher than what you'll find here on OF. Shucktheoyster, analog/shift, Blackbough. Teddy Baldassarre has a good video on different online marketers who have good examples, see below (but again, they're generally marked up compared to what you'll pay on forums/ebay). You can get good deals on eBay, but you need to know what you're looking for and how to spot re-dials, polished cases, frankenwatches, etc. As @Foo2rama mentioned, @ConElPueblo wrote a very good beginners guide on how to spot an honest watch for yourself on ebay. It can be helpful to aim for a "cheaper" watch to start out, as practice. My first vintage watch was a Seiko Lord Matic that I bought on eBay for $100 CAD. You don't wanna go all out to start with, since mistakes will be made. Better to make them with less money in the game

An incredible pile of shit, with a horrible refinished fantasy dial.

As others have already stated, spend some time researching and learning before making any purchase. Glad you asked questions first, you dodged bullet and didn't pay the noob tax so many new to the world of vintage watches unfortunately do.

Be patient, with a little work a nice watch will come around.
