If those are solid bars, an awful lot.

It strikes me as odd that it appears to have fixed bars between the lugs, and yet the extract makes no mention of it being delivered to the military??

Possibly, but the question still remains as to why? My understanding is that fixed bar cases were for military issue pieces only, and IF this is true, then the lack of markings on the case combined with the lack of remarks on the extract may indicate that this unit was assembled with parts from several watches?

So, to answer your original question, in my opinion I would say it's value is what the individual parts are worth! So you could easily hit eBay and get an idea of value.

Whose selling this to you? Those are my photos from many years ago!
From what I can remember it was likely a genuine military 300 with the case back markings removed, as they often were after leaving the service. The extracts at that time didn't mention the military connection but of course it needed to have been sent to Britain and be in the correct serial range, which it was. Ordering an extract for it today would reveal for sure if it was sent to the military.
However given that the photos are old ones I would be deeply suspicious of the sale.

Also, this is a very uncalled for statement. If you need our help, we need all the information we can get.

I love it @Dash1 calling out a potential BS seller.

This is what makes this forum awesome.

And to @eqk we play much nicer with those who are seeking info for purchasing vs. those who are too lazy to research and want us to value their watch.

As mentioned above, this might have military provenance. Getting a new extract might include that information. Having said that, the fact that it is missing the markings on the back and on the dial will greatly effect the value associated with the provenance.

@watchknut, thanks for that explanation. I feel like the OP was not intentionally being snarky, just genuinely didn't understand why it would matter.

As usual, thanks to everyone for informed responses.

Sorry to be digging up old threads but I’m super intrigued if OP bought this watch or if it was a scam?
