any ideas about what model this watch is...year?
What price should I charge for it in ETSY?
Is it worthy to have serviced by OMEGA. I sent it to an authorized dealer but I was told that it can only be serve in Switzerland.

    Thanks,

The fact that it is quartz really diminishes the interest. I don't even think that it is a desirable model. The one thing that it has going for it is the condition and the fact that it seems to be gold, couldn't tell by the hallmark but it should be.

Your best bet would be to look at ebay and chrono24.com to see what others are asking for a similar one, realizing than asking and getting are often two different things.

unfortunatly these watch are not really sought after. You have a few options :
-offering it to your beloooooved spouse
-sell gold, about 40 dollars a gram

I'm always sad to see a watch melted. the fact that it's a quartz diminishes its value. I really don't find it bad looking globally ; and elegant lady's dress watch.

    ? for pure gold?
    ? 18K
    ? 14K

    that is the question...

taking your $40 it would be roughly $1240 for an ounce - so I guess you took the price for fine gold (9999.9) and not for any alloy which is used to produce watch cases. But I even wonder about this price as today´s fixing for an ounce was about $1070 only!

The "melt" price in Austria for 18K scrap gold is 19.666 euros per gram ( today´s fixing), which is about $20.88 per gram...

    Your numbers don´t make sense!

If we make Omega buckles from that gold. Are they original, faked or 50/50?
