Hi guys, Just sent my polerouter super cal 1 69 for a service. In short, the crown stem broke. Being in Asia, the corrosion of parts is alot faster than in temperate climates. Below are some pictures of the watch and the crown. Its super unfortunate, but my heart is broken Can anyone point me to the right direction in terms of the same exact UG crown, or suggest to me any remediations to the situation? The watch is on a replacement vintage big crown, but it hurts me to see that it's without it's beautiful crown. Help.
I’m not a watchmaker but I’m pretty sure all you need is new stem. I had to replace the inner male stem on my Polerouter Super and was able to source it on eBay.
Thanks guys. Let me see what I can do. Apparently not possible to my watchmaker. I'll look for one and see what I can do. Anywhere to source for a stem?
Sorry for your misfortune! Is your UGPRS back and running? I do like the polerouter a lot, but my attention is on a Super. I will take some time this year to look for one.
That crown has a 2 piece stem. The part that fits inside the movement is the male stem. You should be able to replace both parts. Fire your watch maker!
Hi Jonatan, I am searching for the right stem (2 parts style) for my Polerouter Super, can you help me on the reference number for this part. Getting hard to find on eBay . Also I am looking for set of hands , anyone has? thanks
Hi guys, was wondering if you had any luck with stem - male part ? While the crown and the female part i was able to source, the male part with the special prolonged end (not the regular 69/215 - # 404) seem hard to find. Thanks
Send me a message with the dimensions, fairly sure I have a bunch of them but theyre in a few different lengths.
