    Hi Everyone,

Someone is selling me this vintage Omega watch and i can't tell if its authentic, franken or fake. Could anyone of you help me authenticate this vintage omega seamaster automatic (from 1970s) Cal. 1020 automatic movement

Watch looks like a legit cal. 1020 day-date Omega Seamaster from around 1980. Can't tell if the dial is toned, or that was the original color.

I also can't read the case reference number engraved inside the caseback. This would help to better identify the watch.

Once you are able to find this, go to Omega's Vintage Database and try to find it:

    Hope this helps,

Google up the reference number and see what you get. I really don't know,

I finally bought it and had it autheticated in Omega Service Center here in the Philippines. They told me the omega seamaster is authentic. Thank you so much for all your thoughts and opinions shared in this thread.
