just pulled the trigger on a straight lug Speedy.
Based on the pictures, can you tell wich reference it is? Dial is a service dial as are the hands. Bezel seems to be a DON . Can't wait to have a Cal. 321 Speedy Thanks in advance.

Need to see under the hood to see how correct it is.

Edit: Pushers might be 4.5mm Ed White size so a 105.003 is a possibility.

Double edit: The dial could be correct for 861 caliber so it's anyone guess what the inside shall reveal.

Fair question! I hope its a 321 inside. Regarding the story of the seller, it seems the grandfather ones serviced the watch. He also will look at the attic of his parents. He remembers there was a Omega box. Cross fingers that there are also the missing service parts hidden.

Its probably got some japanese replacement no-name-brand quartz movement inside (and the battery is dead, hence 'defect')

I'm wagering the movement is a correct 321 with an 861 dial pasted to it.

It is most likely a 1970s 321 service dial with short indices...they made them.

 

Shouldn't it have an applied metal logo then?
