    Hi all

I have an omega seamaster mariner 196.0054

The hands are clearly very distinct, however, I can't seem to find a name/nickname for them or part number. Needless to say this is damaging my search results as just using the model number and saying hands after this isn't returning many great results.

I have the incorrect hands on my 196.054 and am trying to source the correct hands.

Does anybody have any info as to where I might find these or even a name or nickname for the style of hands to help my search along.

Any information is welcomed and will be well received

    Thanks in advance!!

    picture of your watch please.
Most commonly fitted with syringe hands

But you need ones the right length and size for the movement.

    IMG_7951.JPG Currently apart..

But you can get the jist hopefully. Cal 1310

Syringe would make sense to what I have seen so that does help me massively already.

This is the larger 39mm I think? With seconds hand obviously

    Thank you for your help

I know they are not.. they are the incorrect hands. I need to source the Correct hands for this watch and I don't think this is them.

From every photo I have seen they seem to be the style of what you describe as 'syringe'

I can't find any with the hands in the photo above so have come to the assumption they are wrong for this watch ::confused2::

From the thread where I answered you yesterday...

"Omega defines the shape of these as stick hands, so that's not very helpful considering a lot of hands are stick hands that don't look like this. However the part numbers may help...

Hour and minute hands set - 065PP2396

    Seconds hand - 066UP2366

As noted above the hands are still available from Omega.

    Cheers, Al"
