Hello everyone,
I am new to the Forum and apologize for my bad English. I use the DeepL translator. I am from Switzerland (Lugano, Italian Switzerland) and I collect mainly Heuer and Orfina Porsche Design .
Regarding durri70's Porsche Design, the model in question is a 7176, with a 350Km tachymeter bezel and a white triangle at 12 o'clock. On the case back you will find the inscription 7176 and also the height-digit serial number starting with 000. This is the first Orfina to mount the Lemania 5100 (previously it mounted the Valjoux 7750 and was marked Orfina/Porsche Design and was the original Chronograph 1).
This 7176 series in my opinion is the rarest, followed by the 7176D and then the 7176S and finally 7177 and 7178. Starting with the 7176, there was the civil version (normally in black PVD) and the military version, with the H3 inscription in red (the latter was predominantly with a chrome finish). There are, however, military PVD and civil chrome-plated versions.
The 7176 to 7178 series were produced from 1975/6 to 1978 when Ferdy Porsche changed supplier and started producing with IWC
If anyone has news of other series I would be happy to have information and photographs.
