Looking to purchase one of these seamasters. Still have a lot of questions I need to ask the sellers, but I thought I would get the opinions of the group in terms of originality. Please feel free to weigh in.

Option 1: Ref 168.023/166.032 + Cal 750 (claims to be serviced)

Option 1 - Sparkle...pretty! Need better shots to see the lume pips but through the blur is seems ok. You have to like a Day/date though or you’ll hate it. They did make a date only version as well.

Option to is a 147xx series- predecessor to the 166.010. Pre ‘63 so should have the hanger S on the dial. Blurry endlinks shot looks like 11 which would be correct for this case and vintage. Dial looks fine to me, again- would need better pics. Price has much to do on the “are they worth it” question so feel free to share the prices and we can tell you where to go from there

Case on #2 doesn’t look too bad, dial appears clean. The M in seamatrr connects at the top rather than the bottom, the S is a little less dramatic than I’ve seen and the R is strait and not crooked as I have also seen. But there are variances so we need to get the eyes of the veteran experts in this
