Happy Easter Nothing I hate more than to found good watches at good price and not having the cash ready for it! Nor very familiar with this omega, any thoughts if dial and hands are ok? Thanks
I'm leaning toward "not redial," but the lighting and blurry images don't help. I'm interested. If you're going to pass on this, let me know.
That Polerouter has see a lot of action but they are both nice watches. I don’t normally wear gold but it would wear the hell out of that Universal.
I am getting the Cash to get both beauties, hope I don't loose the deal. Once I have them I will post better pictures and share
it seems that this 2 beauties are not very interesting today as I don't get advice from the experts from the OF :O(
I can’t speak to authenticity but they are indeed both stunners. If the seller allwos a grace period or return policy that would give you time to take better pics, including the movements to get more of an opinion here
I am no expert, but I don't see why Omega would make numbers larger than the white track. I am with @IanS
Why? That's a legit dial design. Question is whether or not it's a redial. Pictures are terrible, but I'm leaning toward original. The overall look is consistent with original dials I've seen from this era. Ideally, the buyer could see movement and inner case back pics first, but I might roll the dice if the price was right.
Like I said, I am no expert but I poked around for a similar watch. I think the dial should be like in the picture or links. However, I could easily be wrong. https://www.stetzcowatches.com/product/omega-jumbo-37-5mm-30t2-ca-1940-steel/ https://www.invaluable.com/auction-...big-omega-gentlemen-s-watch-4075-c-2474db7863 https://www.stetzcowatches.com/product/omega-2272-3-jumbo-37-5mm-30t2-ca-1940-steel/
Thanks, I stand corrected. Once you get beyond the basics (Speedies, Seamasters, Connies) it gets to be tricky.
I think I can comment on originality of the Omega dial if you take a closer photo on the sub dial of this one.
