seller's pics......price is almost too good to be true

 

forgot to formally ask for opinions....(never thought that I would be chasing one of these)

 

Do you have pics of inner caseback and a better shot of the dial?
Also, serial number?

serial that I can make out is 24986?80

 

That would make it a 65. Lugs look off and do not see the t swiss t, but that may just be the photo you have.
Otherwise to me looks ok but can't judge dial quality. I am a novice so curious what the experts think.

 

Yup me too, but you have a 105 if I recall....

Seriously though. One of the pushers looks like a later, larger one but that can be corrected. Dial is a bit grungy, but that's a matter of taste. Hands look ok. Hour recorder looks a little off the 12, but either th wrong direction for 'hour creep' or really really creeping.

Definitely need better pics to really make a call.

 

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd be careful, that looks like a similar serial number to a 105.003 watch with extract the "Peruvian Scammers" tried to sell me a few months
ago. Of course hopefully I'm wrong, but it may be the same watch same scam. In addition to the other checks try to get the time set, your name, picture requests. And if you've already done all this and it checks out.....I'm sorry, and maybe you've actually got a deal, but I'd tread very carefully

Well, apparently in Portugal so maybe some more information when the sun comes up there. "Radio silence" since I mentioned I would get some advice but that could just be time zones........

 

Same watch for sure with the same serial and same clear tape on the back. The watch may very well be with him, but you would need to be sure he intends to sell it honestly.
