Hi guys, I am new to the forum but I have been reading a lot here and I couldn't find any info about my watch. So if someone can help me I will be glad.

    The story:

My mom gave me this watch, it was my grandfather's watch. He was a doctor here in Brazil and died in 1975, so the watch is maybe 20 years old before that.

    The watch:

It doesn't work anymore, my mom told me that it have some gold. The glass is quite dark so I could read:

    Omega Watch Co
    Tissot
    ... pour 30 pulsations
    Tachymeter

I found a similar one here:
    https://omegaforums.net/threads/beautiful-omega-watch-co-tissot-monopusher-chronograph.36165/

but it's not the same, as you can see in my bad photos (sorry about that)

Anyone can help me to get more info about this one?
    Thank you!

This could turn out to be a great find that is worth a lot more than the gold content your mother mentioned.

Thank you very much! Do you think it's still have some value? You think that I will be able to fix it for a good price with Omega? When I have the money I want to do that :)

It is a very nice watch, I dont know what is wrong with it but if I were you I would find a very good watchmaker and try to bring it to life, is not a watch that everyone will be able to fix, you need an expert, the value in good shape I think could be at least 2.000 USD.

Check Ebay but some of that watches are way overpriced, thats why they accept offers.....

They are not the same, you need to know what movement is inside of yours, etc.....

But the watch itself is much valuable that just the gold......

You have a very nice chronograph. It's definitely worth a trip to a watchmaker for repairs.
Underneath that scratched crystal you'll likely find a dial that looks like this:

    (thanks @MSNWatch )

Omega and Tissot were sister companies, together with Lemania, in the holding company Société Suisse pour l’Industrie Horlogère (SSIH). Co-branded Omega/Tissot dials were sold in the Brazilian market from 1935 until the 1950s, when the brands reverted to their respective identities.

Amazing, beautiful dial, it's almost impossible to see the dial now. Thank you! I will do my best to find someone able to fix it, I think it will be hard to find in my city (Salvador-BA) but I will give it a try.
