Hi, I'm just looking for some advice on where I'd be able to get the vintage buckle that went with this watch.
It was my grandad's watch that he passed down to my uncle before he died so holds a lot of sentimental value. When the strap started to wear away he took it to be repaired and when he got it back they'd replaced the buckle with a newer version (shown in photo) and denied taking the vintage buckle. This was over 10 years ago now but I can tell it still plays on my uncles mind and would love to be able to get the original buckle for his birthday.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Read the OF Buckle thread or do a google image search to determine which exact vintage buckle your are searching for, then place a want ad on OF "parts wanted" forum. Maybe a kind OF member might be able to help you out by selling you one from their hoard?

That buckle also looks a bit like the 16mm wide Omega (Banda branded) one from my 1970 Connie, though my Omega logo is smaller.

Thanks for your help! After doing some googling I've narrowed it down to these...
My nan said he would have got it around the mid 70s so I'm thinking more the last one.

For some reason there are a lot of fake buckles out there, so @StrutlessWonder is right - post it here before you buy
