View attachment 352144 image.jpeg I'm considering buying this 1969 Speedymk2 from a dealer, and would really appreciate views on it. It's described as original and 'rare'.
It looks to me like the hands have been changed, as the only white with black centres are on the racing version or the mk2 reissues.
Also to bottom pusher sits further out than the top one. Assume this isn't correct. Would this be a simple fix?

    Appreciate any help and advice.

Are they throwing in the box? That's a valuable box.

Other issues, including the hands and pushers, would be sorted by a full service at STS.

I think the box is included. But have not been told about its condition. Cost of service in the uk? £500?

All depends on the price. Hands are indeed from a MKII racing edition.

Hands are period but not correct, can't tell if the case has been polished. Check the bracelet for whether it's matching or not; it should be an 1162 or similar. Need to see shots of the caseback and movement. Racing Versions can go for the mid $2000s, normal MK IIs (this) lately go for around $2000. You need some more information before you pull the trigger.
