Hi all, New to the forums.. Have been trying to hunt down this watch for quite some time now but had difficulties knowing it’s model. It belonged to my grandmother, but was lost throughout the years, and would like to buy one similar. Your help is much appreciated. Here is a link I found but unfortunately the watch was sold. https://hamptonauction.com/9/329/Ladies_Omega_Diamond_18k_Gold_Watch_Bracelet Thank you in advance.
It can be difficult to find 1970's-80's model info, because many watches were sold thru the william morris agency which was a USA distributor. The case number inside the back is the only real way to locate an identical one, but searching for something like this would be a step: "Omega ladies watch quartz rope bracelet 14k gold" or something like that. Other than finding a catalog or model name (not likely named) it would require some research and a lot of trolling online to find something exactly the same, imho. ari
That would be Norman Morris Co., not William Morris Agency. Finding information on Omega ladies watches from this era is almost impossible. Some were made only in batches on 1 or 2. gatorcpa
Your best bet is to set up a search on eBay for "Omega 1450 quartz" and wait patiently until someone sells one. Fortunately, neither quartz watches nor ladies watches are collectible, so prices should be reasonable. To give you a feel for what to look for, a similar watch to yours - perhaps from the same product line - is available right nowPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network:
