hello all. I am considering my next speedy purchase. i've found one that i really like at a super attractive price. however, it is priced as such because the bezel of the speedy has popped out. The bezel isnt lost and is in the possession of the party im considering buying the watch from. I would like to know if it would be an easy fix, or a nightmare, to have the bezel pressed in. As usual any advise would be hugely appreciated!

Hi. In order for anyone to be able to help you we need high resolution as also closeup pictures of both the watch and bezel. We need to see if the bezel is damaged, how it is damaged, or to see if it is in unsalvageable condition. Usually you can just “pop” the bezel back at a watchmaker for the perfect alignment, but this is only an assumption for your watch without pictures.

    Hi there,

An experienced watchmaker with the correct tools should be able to pop the Bezel back in, it shouldn't cost too much either.

As said photos would help a lot.

So you're asking advice on whether or not to purchase it, but you'll post pics once you buy it and it arrives to you?

    .......?

Take as many photos as you can, front and rear of the bezel and face on to the watch. Please make sure they're in focus and zoom in on any areas that look like they may be out of shape or damaged. I'll link to an ebay auction (no affiliation, no recommendation and for information only). Look at the photos to see what a new bezel should look like. You may then be able to see any faults on the one you're looking at. Try to get macro shots of any perceived faults.

It turned out to be a very simple fix! The bezel was smooth under the ring, and there were no chips or dents on it whatsoever. So the fix was quick and easy. Definately looks better with the bezel than without lol

That's a great watch, I've never seen a speedy with a 3 different colour rimmed chronograph but I like it.

The NATO strap also really complements it in my opinion; wear it in good health!
