    Good afternoon,

Can someone help me out. I am looking for a bit more information (like year) about my omega cal 265 watch. Tried to search in Omega's database but that wasn't really helping.
I've added some pictures and think they provide enough information.

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers, Bram

Ps. I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm doing this the right way

I'm sorry guys, something went wrong with uploading the first try and didn't notice it.
Hope you can take a look at it anyway.
    Thanks!

Do you have a full picture of the inside of the back case? With that we can tell what model the watch is. My initial reaction, and there are much more knowledgeable folks around here, is that it's a redial with some corrosion creeping in the back. BTW, what is the start of the serial number? I can tell from the photo and that will give us a better idea of what year it was made.

Refinished dial. Movement serial looks like 11.7 mil, which dates the watch to 1947-50. Case reference number is on the inside of the case back. This number will allow you to find information more easily.

Where can I find the serial number? I've added a picture of the inside of the case, is it in there?

The serial number is surrounding the large gear on the top of the movement. It looks as if heavenscloud made it out to start with 117 which dates it to sometime between 47 and 50.

Your watches model number is 2487-6. If you google that number with omega watch you should find some other brothers and sisters to your watch.

Unfortunately the Omega vintage database, https://www.omegawatches.com/planet-omega/heritage/vintage/, didn’t get a hit on this model. That’s not unusual as their database is know to be incomplete.
