Hey. Can anyone confirm that the 3035 changes date at midnight instead of between 2 and 3. I haven’t worn my Sub 16800 for a couple of months but got it out today, winded and set the date. When I advanced the quick-set date I noticed that the date changed a little before 3 instead of 12, which I believe is correct. Not entirely sure though but I hope someone can confirm 😀

It's like asking if the hour hand should be aligned with an hour marker when the minute hand is at 12. Depends on how the last watchmaker left it. 😉

Make all the fun you want good sir 🤔 It just seemed strange that it would suddenly change date at the wrong time since I almost have had it serviced and it worked fine, when I put it in the deposit box. I turned the date a few times more and it suddenly went back to normal again changing at midnight.

Perhaps you did not understand, but my post was serious. If you think about it, you will realize that the time at which the date turns over is not a feature of the movement, but simply depends on how the hands were installed by the watchmaker. So it is totally analogous to the alignment of the hour and minute hands.

I rarely understand but I get your point 😀 The strange thing is that I have now tried a few date changes where it changed at midnight and then suddenly it began changing at 2.30 again 🤨 Luckily there is still service warranty from the RSC.

In one post, you state that “you almost have had it serviced”. 😕 Then you state “luckily there is still service warranty from the RSC”. 😕 Is it just me, or..........! 😕 I have been mulling over what you have said about the erratic performance of the date change, and I simply am unable to understand how the date change can re-set itself the way you describe.
