    Hi!
I inherited this lovely watch. Its gold plated DeVille looks like original strap.
    .
When I received it I took it to get the battery changed. That did nothing.
Then, took it a local watch repair and said he couldn't do anything to it.
He guessed the battery was left on too long and it could have damaged some parts?!

Took it to Omega NYC store and they would need to send it to Switzerland and I had pay a lot $, etc.

I now need a watch and wondering if you all could help me fix it?

-Recommend what to do with it, if it's worth the cost?
    -And if so where to?
I live in Texas. Travel often to NYC and Mexico.

    Any advise is greatly appreciated.

It's gold plated and not really worth much if you tried to sell it.

The cheapest way to fix it is to open the back and figure out the model and which movement then scour eBay for a new movement and have someone install it.

Does it have a button and a lack of a crown? It reminds me of my Omega from 1980

Use a toothpick to change the time you hold the button for 3 seconds to advance an hour and single hard presses for minutes. Here is some more pictures of mine also the time only changes once every minutes it skips kinda
