    Its from about 1939

    under the balance wheel there is a set of digits, those are your caliber number, thats needed so the gurus can speak.

    excentric guys the gurus...... don't let them near your single malt whiskey!

    beautiful watch by the way, hope you plan on wearing it!

    I'll take a look at those digits and post here later... How do you know its about 1939? I did some research and though its was maybe 1942

    Also, can you suggest a Chain type to combine with the watch?

    I think its a 1940. But don't know the movement. Total diameter 48mm

    Here is a dating chart from Omega:

    Based on this the watch looks to be from about 1943, although the movement might have been made a few years before.

    Look at the case number in the list posted above. Movements are made in advance of the cases.

    The movement is a Cal.38.5L.
    Nice movement and very successful – they made nearly a million of them between 1932 and 1966.

    So, after all research I think it sits between 1940 and 1944. So I'll put 1942 LOL
