Hi There, I need some help to identify this watch because i just bought it online. Im starting my vintage watch collection and this watch is gonna be my first. Im confused when i look the back cover of this watch, because it looks different from another watch with the same model that i see online.

I appriciate every kind of opinion and suggestion for this watch,

Apart from the inscription what’s different about it compared to others you’ve seen?

Movement SN dates to 1971- so maybe a 16 yr birthday gift?

there’s no major difference if i compared it with another KM6292, but the omega letter on the automatic is kinda messy

I think it’s a very nice watch in good condition with an interesting technical dial. Quite unique. US market with 14k gold filled case typical for US market. Probably says gold filled on case maybe between lugs.
Personal engravings can add interest and my theory on this one is George H Jones M.D. was a post war boy wonder, born in 1955 and completed his MD degree in 1972 or 73 at age of 17-18, and this watch was a medical school grad gift. ( watches were often sold a year or 2 after their movement date)
Anyone have another theory?
