Whilst clearing out my nans house I have managed to find my grandads omega 18k constellations watch. It has all original hallmarks and I believe it is real. I have done all the tests they say to do online to identify if it is real and it all seems to point to the fact its real.
The reason i am posting is because i cannot find this model online anywhere besides one post which identifies a fake version of this watch.(Thankfully mine doesnt follow the same details as the fake).
I am looking to find a watch the same as this one so I can get an idea of what it is worth.
    Please help me!!!
Any information about the watch would be brilliant (the year etc)

Hello! What a wonderful find. Certainly a less popular version of the Constellation. If it is truly 18k I would assume it is not fake(quite the expensive fake if it is...) The model number will be listed on the inside of the caseback. This one should be relatively easy to remove, potentially with your finger nail. If not take it to a QUALIFIED watchmaker (not a mall kiosk) and ask them to open it. Take a clean photo of the inside of the back and the movement and we can try to help you

Take it from those who know, and save your money! Testing is not required to identify that this is a total fake in every respect. Nothing about it is Omega. Nothing about it is 18-karat. Cheap gold electro-plated. What’s it worth? Intrinsic value, zero. Sentimental value? Only you would determine that. Not what you wanted to hear, and don’t go away mad!
