Received as a gift many years ago, looking for some information on it.

Circa 1970 I believe, bought in Geneva (but this is all second hand info)
Any help would be much appreciated.

Looks like a Seamaster 165.0022, produced from 1967, with Cal. 552.

Its diameter should be 33,5 mm if it is this model.

    More pics here… and here.

What are the markings at the bottom of the dial: "T Swiss Made T"? "OM T Swiss Made T OM"??

Lovely to see you here Fancois

OM markings at the bottom of the dial indicate Or Massif, which I know you'll translate excellently :) This indicates to me that the watch is possibly Franken, because as far as I know gold capped or rolled gold Seamasters of the period did not have 18k dials. Dial looks genuine too

    Cheers

Cannot be a 552 because this one is a date version (562, 565 maybe?)

the dial is painted gold, not 18k solid, it must be T Swiss Made T with 2 dashes on both sides

Of course, you are right… I wasn't sure what about the character/s framing "T Swiss Made T"… I just found a way to enlarge the picture sufficiently, and that they are just dashes. Thanks.
Desmond: thanks for your warm welcome. I visit sometimes, but not as often as I would like. It is a very interesting and well informed forum.
    Amitiés.
