    Hello all,

I am new to this forum and I'd just like to introduce myself. Anyway, I was gifted what I believe is a vintage Omega devill. My question is what specific model is the watch. Any help or advice would much obliged. There is a number on the back which I believe is the serial number, it is: 54248809

    Hi Jacob and welcome!
Please show us the numbers you speak of.
The number you provided is from the 90's, but Omega doesn't stamp numbers on the outside.
I am very concerned about the authenticity of the watch.
Pictures of the caseback, both inside and out, and the movement will provide proof.

In the meantime, stay and enjoy!

Thanks for the quick response. I'll send a few more pics, but my phones camera isn't to great; where would the number be? Because I opened the back And took a picture of the gears, the back of the cover, and the front of the cover. It's a real blurry pic, but the numbers 595 0101 and 7950901 And it's a,gift from my grandmother, so I don't think she would buy a fake watch, but who knows? Thanks again 1106161623a.jpg 1106161624a.jpg 1106161623b.jpg

Your watch is genuine. It is a
Omega Prestige Ladies Watch, 18k and stainless
It is either a model 595 0101 or 7950901 , both probably used the same case.

One on Ebay, but no model number listed. Could be old enough (and quartz) that the seller didn't bother looking for one.

Search current auctions under omega two tone quartz deville

No models except some men's in completed auctions

OK, I feel a lot better now!
I misunderstood and interpreted your post as saying the number was stamped on the back, which is a no-no.

Many watches of that era had caliber number on the back Jim, serial numbers as well. I think mainly from the early quartz days.

Thank you all for the great responses, you've been a lot of help. Considering I'm a male, have no significant other, and would rather not wear a women's watch; how much do you think it would go for if I were to sell it?

Thanks Jim, great information as always.

Jacob, I apologize for speaking out of ignorance, please forgive me.
I should know to research first, speak second!

Well… being Quartz and a ladies watch don’t help you to add value, very few people collect this kind of watches and as the trend is to wear BIG watches also for a casual buyer is not very appealing, check EBay but I guess you could get 150/300 USD.
