Hi everybody. I have this watch but I can not find anything about this watch? Someone knows the history about this strange model? Is it rare or it is just strange? Thanks Daniele
Hi Daniele. It's a late 60's or 70's watch, reference number like 166.xxx. We'll need to see the inside of the caseback and the movement to tell you anything more specific unless somebody happens to know that particular watch. The DeVille line had some funky dials then.
Its not as common as other DeVille dials but we have seen a few around here, there are 2-3 members with the silver version of that dial pattern.
oh really! thank you, I hope they will see this thread. But do you know why did omega do this kind of dial? and I can not to find omega watch with this kind of case. I have seen a lot of de Ville pictures but anyone has this case. I'm wrong or somebody have pictures of omega watch with this case. Thank everybody
Won't matter if they do - it won't change their business practice because collectors are a minute percentage of the market.
Oh, I thought he meant he hoped Omega saw it. Sorry for the misunderstanding! (Trust me, Omega did see it.)
