Hello all, my 2782 Constellation is behaving like this: the seconds hand randomly leans towards the dial … the position changes from this - to \ … obviously at not so steep angle. When this happens the tip hits the indexes and watch stops. I can tinker with the crown pulling and pushing and it will eventually get back to normal and run for minutes or hours before same thing happens. My guess is some problem in the pinion wheel or the wheel attached to it. ideas?

Just spit-balling, but maybe take it to a watchmaker to get it fixed. Crazy idea, I know.

The problem is there is no one I trust here in my town. I tried … they told me they won’t be able to fix it.

If you post where you are, someone will be able to recommend a good repairer.

Many of us send our watches by insured mail delivery to repairers who are many miles away.
