I'm looking to make my first vintage purchase but don't have a deep vintage knowledge set to tell if I'm getting a reasonable deal (or legitimate watch for that matter). Seller offering a manual gold/ss seamaster DeVille for ~$900 (negotiating). Listed as festuring a manual wind 601 caliber movement and serviced last month. I've messaged for additional pictures of the movement next. Any thoughts on this piece? The price? 892348E3-0BC4-4464-8B69-11BD2BB21AB2.png 575D602C-899F-4F56-881A-15B31BD3306A.png 4E98F9D7-2D61-498E-9EFB-422D65D0ADA3.png 5F5E7F52-56F4-4EBA-AC5D-E7A852FEF3C6.png 8C9FBB7F-B3FF-413E-8295-BEFF43233890.png EB35EE8D-1398-4215-AEBA-65D752A16EBD.png

Crown is a replacement. Caseback looks overpolished. Watch seems genuine.

Strap and buckle are both counterfeit.

Do you think that's a fair price?

What's "fair"? I think it's in line with retail prices for casual buyers.
