Hi,

I’m new on the watch collector world but I’m trying to start by acquiring this watch - Omega Geneve. The asking price is 700€, is it a fair one?

Attached are some pictures

Thank you all

Hello!

Good looking watch but 700€ is way too much. Something like 350€ would be fair.

Any more information; private sale/dealer? Serviced/unserviced? Box+papers?

It looks in nice condition and, in the UK & Europe, I’d think it’s more in the region of €500-550 but, that said, ….

I suggest that you have a look at ‘completed/sold' listings on eBay and, if you’re keen, make the seller a sensible offer.

Private dealer, being just serviced and without papers

Private dealer??? Which is it; private sale or from a dealer?

Is there proof of service or just the sellers word?

Probably a silly question but thats look like a plastic movement ring, is that a thing for Omega at the time period, pretty weird cause I have never seen one.
