Hey everyone. I’m new to the community. My dad took an old watch of his in for a repair back in 2004/2005 and the owner of the shop “lost” it. I remember it being a big deal when I was a kid, and my dad was bent out of shape over it. Rather than take legal action after a few weeks my dad was given this watch after they came to an agreement. His memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be and he doesn’t remember much about the watch, just that it was equal to the value of the one that was lost. I’m wondering if anyone here knows anything about this specific model. It’s not running right now and there’s a crack in the crystal/glass. Not sure if it’s gold filled or plated. Color looks to be more 18k than 14k though. Any insight is highly appreciated. Just trying to get a rough value. Thank you.

If the watch is broken and need repair worth less than 100 Euro. If only need a battery to get life can worth about 200-250 Euro. Regards and welocme to the forum.

Hi and welcome

Take the battery out before it starts leaking and damage the movement.
Google the number on the case back to find model etc.
That how much I know, now for a question; Does the marker writing, mean that H.S.L oiled (O) and changed battery(B) in june 95 (16.6.95) . If so its time for some oil and a battery.

Looks like stainless steel with gold plated bezel and crown to me.
