    Hello JB,

What are your thoughts on it? Anything jump out at you as being correct/incorrect?

I am not a Ranchero pro but I would love to use this thread to learn. About these as well.

A couple things I am looking at are the crown, the hands, and the caseback.

Is the crown in the out position? It looks it to me.

Is the lume in the hands matching the dial? It looks a little lighter to me, but it could be the photos.

I know absolutely nothing about Ranchero casebacks so I'm curious, are they actually snap on casebacks?

Probably get 100 replies if this was posted on the Vintage Omega board.

I think this is all correct except for the crown that is a replacement. Dial and hands are in nice condition, movement can use a service but it's in the accepted serial range. Lume application is a little sloppy around the edges of the markers, but the overall condition matches so it could well be original.

The case is a little strange and may have been refinished: the top edges of the lugs look sharper than usual. They also appear to be brushed on top and polished on the sides, which I believe is the opposite of what is usually seen. Not very sure about these case finish considerations, as they are always difficult to see well in pictures, these are my opinions based on my two examples.

I agree with @micampe and @Jwit. The crown is the only non original issue that I see. The caliber 267, Movment number 1636xxxx matches my black dial 2990-1 exactly. I think the dial and hands are original although a gieger counter is a big help here in confirming the radium lume. However, I always defer to the big ranchero boss @pitpro.

I'll leave the seller unnamed since the watch hasn't sold but for the condition I think the price he's asking is fair and I agree with what's been said about the condition, which is overall pretty good. I've dealt with the seller before and have had good experiences (but, just for clarity, have no connection to the watch or seller). Good luck with the pick up if you go through with it!
