Hi, everyone!

I recently bought a lot of vintage women's watches and am looking to resell a few to help fund my dog's medical treatment.

I'm at a loss on this Omega watch. From what I've been able to tell from this website, it is authentic, though I was initially worried about the blank case back. But it seems like that's common.

Would anyone be able to give me any additional details or even just (tentatively) confirm authenticity? Also, sadly, it's not working, which breaks my heart, but I imagine a repair would cost more than the watch is worth.

Thanks so much in advance! ky9FCwu.png Kok0VXo.png 9crZF0A.png

Looks genuine but the dial has been poorly refinished hurting the already minimal value. On a good day in a $.99 opening no reserve eBay auction you might get $50, probably closer to $20-25.

Ladies watches have minimal value to begin with and ones like this in poor condition even less.

Sorry about your dog.

Thanks so much—I very much appreciate the input! Yeah, I realize ladies' watches don't really hold their value, which is unfortunate since that's the majority of my collection. Good for buying, not so much for reselling. And thank you for the kind words about my dog.

While most of the members of this forum are men, there are a few ladies here as well, stick around you'll find them.

BTW, you're the lucky ones that can buy a whole handful for watches for what us men gladly pay for a single piece. 😉

Unfortunately, except for some exceptional circumstances, it's generally not easy to buy and sell watches at a substantial profit. Good luck, though, sounds like it's for a good cause. Feel free to post more photos if you have questions, although as mentioned above, ladies' watches aren't discussed very often here because they're just not terribly collectible.

Thanks for your reply! And understood. My initial goal wasn't to resell—I'll consider myself lucky if I make back my initial investment. I very much appreciate the help...everyone seems so friendly here. Before everything happened with my dog, I'd been looking for a Constellation, and I'm sure I'll get back to that search eventually. I look forward to being a part of this community. 😀
