Have this Omega that came from a grandparent am guessing it's from the 40's & have no information about it. Does anyone recognise this watch? Is it a bespoke strap. I have no serial number as it's on the inside & don't trust myself to open it. Will eventually take it to a jeweller but am really intrigued. Any help appreciated
It looks 1960s to me. I doubt that is an Omega bracelet. Unfortunately there isn't much of a market for women's dress watches and despite the good condition this one is probably only worth the scrap gold content. Which, if that's 18k, will be a few hundred £ / $. The box also has a value.
Search "gold cocktail watch" maybe add "vintage" as well. here is one site, there are many.Wristwatches - Cocktail, Ladies - Carter's Price Guide to Antiques and ... Think of these items as jewellery rather than watches.
