I picked up this Mark II a while back, and need help in identifying the dial, and hands. I have a 71 speedmaster with a grubby dial, and wonder if this dial would be appropriate for it?

Looks like a -69 -71 assuming the Swiss made is correct. Speed master font is correct and it appears to be a step dial.

Looks like dial and hands are appropriate for your 71. Only problem is the sweep hand is incorrect but will still work

Wouldn’t have occurred to me, but once pointed out, I feel silly that I didn’t notice.

You see a difference in 145.022-69 to 145.022-71 dials?

It can easily be determined by the carbon 14 method.

I am not sure but the dial colour to the indexes etc. is more like the 71 dial.
