    Hello,

I have a friend who asked me if I wanted to buy his Seamaster. He does not have any box or papers etc. Just the bare watch. He also does not know when it was last serviced.

Does anyone know what the model / reference number is on this Seamaster?

Also, anyway I can tell if it's genuine + taking into consideration its sort of rough shape, never been serviced and no box / papers.......what would you guys pay for it.

I believe it's the older version of the Seamaster Professional 300M blue wave dial, the 2531.80, going by the size of the hippocampus on the case back and where 825 is printed on the end links.

2541.80, quartz. The automatic would say"chronometer"on the dial.

Thanks but my boss, coworkers, wife, daughter, parents, siblings, and neighbors tell me otherwise. My dogs still like me though! :D
